Buffett Show in Atlantic City

What would summer be without a trip to Margaritaville. This year it took us to AC the Sunday before Labor Day weekend. Probably the best show I had seen musically (until this past weekend's unexpected events) but the setting definitely was different. No tailgating in parking lots but lots of action on the beach at the Trump Beach Bar.

Easter Weekend Pictures

A few pictures from Easter weekend. Of course - no pictures from Easter day and the whole dress-up deal. Those might come later.

Addie having some fun. Still doesn't like me. Something with little girls with names that begin with A - they just have a complex around me.

Ice Cream with Daddy

Last Saturday we had some fantastic weather. While mommy took the girls to a birthday party (that was inside) - Blake and daddy hit the park for a few hours and then hit Stewart's for Blake's favorite - vanilla ice cream. Happy little guy....

The day ended with meeting friends at Juicy Burger and then back to our house for Margarita's, some LCR and lots of laughs.

An Addition to the Family?

A few weekends back we had the pleasure to host a dog for a long weekend. It was a great opportunity as we were assessing to adopt at the time. Winston is a 1 year old and house-broken. He has a terrific personality and is very child friendly.

Over the course of the weekend we learned that while we desire to have an addition to the family, we just don't have the time to commit to what he deserves while giving he kids all the attention that they need. No telling what may happen in the future but right now is not the right time. It was a wonderful experience and the kids, well, there were tears when it was time to say good-bye. But he is still residing with some friends of ours so we hope to have the opportunity to pay him a visit in the coming weeks.

A Lemon Grows in Saratoga

So I've taken a lot of abuse for trying to grow lemon's here in Saratoga Springs. But after a year, the fruit of my labor has ripened and is ready for consumption. Goal for next year is to double the harvest. Just need more bees here to pollinate effectively.

Serious Icicles

It's been a rough winter here in Saratoga. Here are some of the current icicles we have on the house along with the three feet of snow on the ground. Lots of damage to homes in the area with all of the ice and snow.

Spring can't come soon enough.
